It aims at providing easy-to-understand, accurate and up-to-date information about the science, the scientists and the exciting discoveries within that field, with a definite emphasis on South African palaeontology and the work of a particular research institution - the Bernard Price Institute for Palaeontological Research (BPI) at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg, South Africa.
